This recipe uses only ingredients that are high nutrient, longevity protecting and delicious. Turmeric is your anti-aging and uber delicious secret weapon as it is high on the anti-oxidant and anti-inflammation scales. And, paired with the lean, protein packed goodness of organic chicken breast as well as powerhouse nuggets of pomegranate you may actually be aging backward. (No, not really!)
Preparation Time: 10-12 minutes active and 30 more baking
INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp paprika, smoked
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 2 tsp organic butter
- 4 Yorkshire Valley Farms organic boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
METHOD
- Mix together cornmeal, turmeric, curry powder, salt, smoked paprika and white pepper in plate or pie plate.
- Dredge the Yorkshire Valley Farms organic chicken breasts through the cornmeal mixture while you preheat a cast iron skillet and melt butter.
- Pan fry to crisp and brown each breast on both sides while you warm oven to 375°F.
- Place entire pan in oven to bake through for 25-30 more minutes until chicken is cooked to 165°F.
