Oh man, are these good! I have been eating 2 or 3 a day since my order arrived 3 days ago! Today, I added a smooshed patty to a pan-toasted sprouted grain burger bun with mayo and ketchup, and it's mmm mmm good! Like a sausage muffin from you-know-where but so much better (and better for me)! Add an egg and cheese if you want to...

Hi - thanks for leaving your feedback. We use certified organic, expeller-pressed canola oil. This method does not involve the use of chemical solvents (like hexane) to produce the oil.
By definition, the oil is squeezed out of the seed using physical pressing, not chemicals. We chose this oil because its sourcing and extraction method align with our commitment to using thoughtfully selected ingredients.
Why canola?? Could be such a great product without.

Why do these have canola oil? For the price point and the other great ingredients, I’m confused as to why you are using canola oil? It’s gross, cheap and has no business being in a more premium breakfast patty.

Thank you for a tasty chicken breakfast sausage with 'no casing'! I would give 5 stars if the sodium was reduced from 10% to 5% which I think could easily be done without compromising taste. An idea......Break sausages into small chunks, fry and then add as a favourite pizza topping! Yum!
The patties were ok. Very small. I should have read the ingredients thoroughly. Regardless if it is Organic, Canola oil should never be used in food. If you ever watch how they are extracted and processed, you would be horrified. It is one of the worst substances you can put in your body. You have all these clean ingredients and then canola oil. Also I agree, too much plastic packaging. Adding more unnecessary micro plastics. My first time trying Yorkshire Farms. Wish it was better.

We really thought these were good and would buy again. But I agree with the previous reviewer that there is far too much plastic used to package the sausage patties. Why can’t paper separate each pattie in much the same way as the burgers?
These were delicious, which makes it all the more disappointing that I can never purchase them again. The sausages were wrapped in pairs in thick plastic within the plastic bag, it felt like half the substance of the purchase was plastic waste. Change your packaging, I’d love to buy again.
